ED & AMBER

Hello everyone,
I was thrilled with how cute this quick snap shot turned out. Amber is smiling at me which is harder to come by these days as she is constantly on the go crawling now. She is getting into everything she can so I have to watch her like a hawk now. When she takes a nap is when I try to take one as well or read or surf the web. I love to watch her sleep and still can't believe how blessed we are. I feel so content to be at home with her and be able to see her grow and change (quicker than I ever imagined). Friends have asked me if I was bored being at home with her and I can't imagine it any other way. There are great playgrounds here and play groups which we will join when it warms up. I look forward to walking to town with her in the stroller and taking her to the lake near by.
Being married for 15 years and traveling as we have, becoming a mother at 39 feels natural which is a great feeling. Who knew?!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Hello everyone,
I thought I would list on the blog what people have been asking me for those of you that are curious.
1. How long will I continue to breastfeed? Although it has made me eat very bland foods due to her stomach being sensitive and I look forward to Mexican and lasagna, I don't know how long I will go. Maybe to a year or past that. I would like her to wean herself. Right now she isn't interested in baby food. She will eat a few bites of it and that's it. Many mothers only breastfeed their babies until 2 and they become interested in baby food so I am not concerned. She is healthy and happy.
2. Amber weighs 16 pounds as of last week. She is still 26 inches long and 25% in weight and 50% in length.
3. Will we have more kids? At this point no.
4. Is Amber still cute? She's gorgeous! I had to be a little obnoxious and throw that in.
5. Will the Patriots win the Super Bowl again? Um, yes, Duh!
6. Have we sold our house in Panama City yet? No. Please spread the word.
7. Is Amber crawling yet? Almost. She is scooching and pulling herself up on furniture. She pulls herself forward and gets herself where she wants to be.

In February Amber and I are going to see Ed's family for a week in MA. We look forward to that.
Amber has a new high chair and loves it. She feels very cool sitting at the table with us.
That's all for now!

SHE WORE THIS FOR 5 MINUTES

Hello gang,

I bought this hoping Amber would wear it for a wedding in Aug. but it was to big so I put it on her yesterday and she looked adorable! Getting photos is much harder now since she wants to get out of the seat right away and play so they tend to be out of focus action shots. Smiles are harder to come be as well. The magic I once had of looking at her which produced a huge smile on her face is gone.
